The Geranium Community Hub is dedicated to bringing our town together, one project at a time.

The Geranium Community Hub is the beating heart of our small but vibrant community. Located in the old school grounds, the Hub is a volunteer-run initiative dedicated to revitalising local spaces, supporting community wellbeing, and creating opportunities for connection, learning, and growth.

Open Wednesdays and Thursdays or by appointment. A great place to catch up with friends, browse for treasures, and enjoy the old records spinning in the background. New items arrive every week!

Visit Café 1965
Located onsite at the hub, Café 1965 is a privately run business, open week days and friday night for pizzas. A warm and welcoming stop for coffee and conversation.

About Us

The Geranium Hub is a community-owned and operated space built on local pride and volunteer effort. After the closure of the local school, the community came together to transform the site into a vibrant hub that brings people together, supports wellbeing, and creates opportunities for locals.

We’re focused on:

Restoring essential services to town
Creating places for connection, wellbeing, and learning
Providing affordable spaces for meetings, training, and events
Supporting local enterprise and economic activity

Thanks to the dedication of locals and support from partners like the Southern Mallee District Council, we've transformed this space into a multi-use facility that includes a community swimming pool, a thriving op shop and café, and meeting and event spaces.

Whether you’re here for a cuppa and a chat, to attend the gym, participate in a workshop, or just want to support a great local cause, there’s a place for you at the Hub.
